Oh, dear. I'd forgotten just how bad that was. :)

Maybe he's attempting his famous Sean Connery accent.

Just over halfway and it's pretty tight at the top. I only have a few transfers left so I must use them wisely.

I'm holding my own in the super16 league but I'm a bit lost by this new league split. :conf:

I think I'll keep my eye on the big prize and not worry about the smaller fish. :)

Fair play to Beckham for donating all his wages to the starving and malnourished.......

That said she does have an expensive taste in handbags.

I like the guy. Poor taste in women but he comes over as a nice enough fella.

But I'm such a cynic I will offer up two words. Tax reasons. ;)

I reckon that's a good shout but isn't he giving away ALL his wages? That's gotta be the bizarrest tax dodge!

He will still be earning money. These days he sells budgie smugglers, smelly water and gets paid for thousands of endorsments so he'll still be earning a wage. Not to mention his image rights as well.

Also worth noting that he has been free to sign for a new club since October but waited until the very last day of the transfer window before agreeing his PSG move. It all adds a bit of drama to the Beckham road show. ;)

Oh indeed... apparently he has to earn a minimum wage due to some football union thing. He'll take home £2k per week.
All his image rights - shirt sales etc are being run through London based companies. France's 75% tax thing is obviously highly unpopular!

Sorry I haven't been around for ages, but I will post the trophy out if I don't win the league. Which is looking highly likely as it might look close but I'm surviving on a team of about seven players. I've had loads of injuries, and just when I think I've got a settled side, someone kicks a ballboy up the arse. Yes, he was asking for it, but that didn't do me any good. So I don't hold out much hope of winning, but I assure Slough Town Reserves that I will be back to post the trophy out should you win the title.

Plenty of time yet, mate. Marathon not a sprint and all that. :)

I think there's still 4 teams in it.

I just wish the real STFC were doing as well as their fantasy reserves.

Well it looks like Suarez's munching episode has taken a chunk out of my chances of finishing 5th.
I did contemplate bringing RVP back and fucking him off before the weekend but a lack of transfers prevented it. Now I pay for that goofy hungry scouse twat & RVP went on to get a hat trick & WIN THE FUCKING LEAGUE!

Is there anything in this?

Sir Alex Ferguson considering retiring as Manchester United manager before end of the week

I heard a bookmaker on the radio mention some money being laid on Moyes to leave Everton this summer and that Old Trafford was his likely destination. There was talk of him assisting for a year before taking the gig.

Probably bollocks but you never know.

I'd like to see Bryan Robson get the job. Just for shits and giggles. :D

I don't think he did himself any favours when he was caught doing dodgy deals on camera. I think his dwindling managerial career ended there!

It probably is bollocks, but, yes I'd heard that the odds on Moyes have been slashed. I'm not sure I would go for him personally. I can't see Fergie quitting yet. People of his generation are lost without work generally even if they've got really shit jobs, and managing Man United is one of the better jobs out there.

I can't see it personally - for the immediate future anyway.
there isn't much gossip about it on united forums so I can only guess it's media hype.
If United manage to bring CR7 back to Old Trafford I expect Taggart will be required to facilitate it - and he'd be far too excited to step down!
I don't like the suggestion of Jurgen Klopp replacing him at all. I'm not sure anybody fits the bill really it's a hell of a job to live up to!

maybe it will come out that Martin Edwards was a sex pest.... again. Or that Arsene Wenger really is a paedo.
Maybe they'll find out that the whole of football has a culture of gang rape.... then cover it up in case some politicians knew & got involved.
