Its not about whether the mods were fundamentally right wing or what not...it's simply that they encouraged arguments, the righties were just as useful as the lefties and the anarchists who got labelled as being left or right depending on which wingnut was referring to them were just another useful 3rd angle, indeed if anything, they end up being the ones who got the boot because lets face it, the anarchists were the ones with the gumption to see through it all anyway and were the ones they could do without.
The more stupid authoritarian muppets who they have arguing with each other, the better off the DIF was for hits as far as sean was concerned.

You could be right, but I would certainly argue that some of the mods undoubtedly had sympathy for the anti-jewish crew and the anti-immigration brigade.

Also there were some posters who were above the "guidelines" that, had they been subject to moderation that people like oioioi received, would have been banned years ago.

And we all know who i am talking about and just what they stand for.

The nazis (self confessed) that were banned really had to go way way beyond what other people did.

And ONLY after their behaviour was put repeatedly in front of the mods and admin.

That whole thing seemed like a wind up. They had swastikas for avs, admitted using socks.... gonzo literally threatened people on there with retribution, including me. The mods and admin team let that go on for far too long and I think that at least one of them was sympathetic... but it was more that the controversy they brought was drawing attention. And it backfired. Now, all are gone, but it's a case of too little too late for a lot of people.

Here we go...

You don't need to shill about Icke here, it's over. You did your best work at the DIF, you've always kind of been anti everything the DIF was about, especially while posting there. You even started a "you know, I don't think 9-11 was inside job" thread before you got banned. Not to mention you're anti-chemtrails, mind control etc.... You were posting on a forum you had little or nothing in common with ...... Now, funny enough, here you are again, questioning moderation on a moderated forum, whose mission statement is quite clear. Maybe you're just kinda thick? :hahano:

I don't mind trolls either, TBH. Or shills who post on multiple forums all the time. You can really say anything you want to them, no respect and no quarter given. Why bother? Are they there for intelligent debate, or just there to spam a place with their bullshit? Their non-stop bullshit..... And I don't persoanlly give a shit if you trash Icke, or Sean, or whoever it's your opinion. It really doesn't influence much. They aren't friends of mine, and I've never given them any money, I just post on the forum.

So I for one, completely disagree with the OP, the bannings were justified, and it serves notice. It says "Stupidity will not be tolerated here". As the OP pointed out, there is a forum out there where anything goes, and folks are free to do and say as they please, and be as stupid as they want. That seems like a great idea.... for a troll. I don't think the folks who put this site together want to be known like that. Hard work and good intent go down the toilet quick if that happens.

spectero has her good qualities, but can't resist making racist comments in PM's and posts, and enjoys making people uncomfortable. sod was just here to get banned.
hm, yeah, i concluded i dont believe in an conspiracy therory anymore.
frankly, i dont even care.
just trying to get on with my own life and trying to be happy and healthy.

its all bullshit.i wish i had moved on much earlier.

even if every conspiracy out there were true, why does nobody go beyond copy paste on the internet, mind you after piss poor research.

yeah politicians and corporation bosses are corrupt, always have been, so why dont anyone get some balls and shoot a couple of them if they think its so bad.

So you're wasting your time on a forum that is a truth/conspiracy based site then. You're going to find nothing of interest here outside of criticozing people for discussing things you "don't believe in anymore" because "it's all bullshit". Just ike at DIF where you posted a ridiculous amount in a short period of time -- on a site where you were diametrically opposed to what it stood for. I guess it's just how you roll.... :hahano:
im here out of pure boredom,if at all.
yeah my conspiracy fence sitter days are indeed numbered.
im not even a sceptic, i plainly dont care anymore.
lol@ arguing with people whether holocaust or moonlanding happened.

....or arguing if a few control the banking system, or whether 9-11 was an inside job, or chemtrails, or..... i don't think you're a fence sitter, you are clearly on one side of that fence, of that line. And now you're basically saying you have willfull ignorance so you can be "happy and healthy". Truth is not an issue, it's about not wanting to know? Interesting....

Anyway, you're here, you know how I feel, get on with it.

I've given my views on the Holocaust on a public forum many times. I guess I don't have the same extreme view as you do. I have my own belief as to what it was really all about. I don't hate "the Jews". I speak my mind most times and don't hold much back. I also know the difference between articulating an idea, and simply looking for attention.

well the good thing is that this thread has caused a lot of debate - as always my two cents....

I think that the anyone is welcome thing is still active - if someone comes into your house and pisses in your plants whilst smearin ketchup on your walls and ripping ya cushions do you clean up the mess and tell them to come back anytime? or do you decide that until they are willing to respect your home they are not welcome - we have all had guests that have accidentally broken something or spilt wine on the carpet - but it was not intentional - sorting out those who make a mistake and those who just want to trash is not always easy - I prefer to give the benefit of the doubt - but where there is no doubt it leaves little choice.

I personally love reading and joining in respectful discussions that include as many contrary positions as possible.

Hada says some things that make me wince - but I have always felt that I can challenge him on them without him being a total shit in response - same for other peeps here - I like that - I feel free to say what I think and I feel safe to do so without bringing a total shitstorm of abuse and vitriol my way.

In sods case I did not feel like I could challenge some of the outrageous things he said because he wasnt here in the spirit of community, respect and reasonableness. The same can be said of excession - and probably many more people who will sign up in the future.

The same can be said of excession - and probably many more people who will sign up in the future.
yeah talking to sod was like trying to talk to a chinese only speaking 5 year old.

similiar sensation when you argue with ronron :D

Have I missed something?

Who has been banned for being anti-Icke or argumentative?

Yeah.... I'll take your word for it. I do ignore him for the most part, but we're all about free speech right? Exercising my right to it, and calling it as I see it. 'K? :D

It's tough to tell who I'm talking to here.... hada has posted on here under this user name too, right?. Perhaps he could defend himself as hadabusa? I don't mind......

You don't have to take my word for anything.....there really was no need for the rolleye.

"Free speech"...nah...I see it as a bit of shit stirring.

As I said before ...leave the guy alone...and stop causing trouble where there need be none.

:chuckle: I guess that's your opinion. I'm not causing trouble for anyone, just calling it as I see it. If he wasn't so full of it, I wouldn't feel the need to say anything to him. It's not like I PM'd him or something, I put it on the board for everyone to see. Right? Free speech. Nothing I've said to back up my opinion is a lie, is it? Nope. Ya know? ;)
there is no free speech man

you dont dare to openly and clearly deny holocaust because canada has some strict laws, even though you wish you could go full out.
so much for fee speech.
also, specterero666-albeit a terrible bitch at times-found limits to free speech even here.

look, switzerland has this holocaust law too, now ill show you the difference between you and me and say:
haha, holocaust didnt even happen, all jews lie about it and they own the media.and evenif it happened,it was a great thing.

and im on probation, mind you.

dont talk about free speech when youre afraid to use it bc you might face cons3quences.

I've given my views on the Holocaust on a public forum many times. I guess I don't have the same extreme view as you do. I have my own belief as to what it was really all about. I don't hate "the Jews". I speak my mind most times and don't hold much back. I also know the difference between articulating an idea, and simply looking for attention.
nah youre pussyfooting around on the holocaust issue, because you dont believe in freedom of speech really, you prefer to bend over because theres a law asking you to do so.

wow, thats the rebel spirit

btw, i think the holocaust did happen, to say otherwise one has to be severly retarded and oblivious to reality.

or a naive dumb sucker.

Right..... Again, thanks part 2. Shill away my man.
look at this level, claiming the holocaust happened will get you a shill label/tag here

:)

perhaps you should inform the best history proffessors and unis on them being wrong and i suppose history channel is just a disguised comedy channel.with fake footage etc.

Of course, keep on going. You're like a dumb dog on a leash who can't stay in the middle -- you run too far to one side and choke, too far to the other side and choke..... rinse and repeat.

Oh, and keep in mind, the OP was about "Why are we banning trolls?" :chuckle:
"Though the rules of the road have been lodged, it's only people's games you've got to dodge.."
