Having just eaten one (for absolutely no reason - if I'm not careful I'll spoil my dinner lol!) I think that there's a lot to be said for the plain and simple Scottish oat-cake, with a sliver of cheese! Does it count as a biscuit, I wonder - after all, it's not sweet!

My biscuit list in no particular order...

bourbons - must eat one biscuit layer first nibble around the cream on the other - then slowly lick the cream off before eating the final biscuit layer.

Chocolate chip shortbread - It must be homemade and have real butter

Rich Tea smothered in nutella - only to be eaten when one has 'the munch'

Nice - the coconutty crunchyness is perfect with a hot chocolate

Garibaldi - Love em that dryness like eating sweet fruity jacobs crackers

lastly my mum brought home a box of biscuits from when she was in northern ireland - the packaging looked like some sort of happy shopper style brand (but not happy shopper) and they were buttery flakey slightly coconutty and utterly yum - looked a bit like a flat round weetabix - I need more of them in my life immediately but alas have no idea what they were called.
