I am in the same predicament. I had been really good with healthy eating until I started an insane 30 day HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) program a few days ago and I've never been so hungry!

Unfortunately Mr Pumpshaft is a bit of a health freak, so I would have to explain my trip to the shop or, more accurately, lie :emb: Worse still, he might offer to come with me :chuckle: If he found out he would prolly lecture me about health and shite like that, so it's just not worth the bother.

I'm waiting for a day soon when I will give myself the day off work and while he's at work and my son's at school I shall watch back to back episodes of crappy TV programs while stuffing myself with chocolate biscuits.

What do you think of this diabolical plan?

It sounds like a good plan Lesley :D

I do love my biscwits and anything chocolate related :chuckle:

I can only ever eat about 4 or 5 choc digestives at a time, but I generally go through a packet in one day :emb: I don't do it every day of course, my biscwit gut can't have it's own way all the time :D

Yeah, I know what you mean. I get heartburn from Digestives. I try not to eat wheat, but biscwits are sometimes too tempting.

Guys we have been here before.......same heathens here I see... :gleek:

We all know the king of bikkies is the chocolate finger (steady steady) or pretty much any biscuit covered in chocolate......followed closely by those variety bags of bit-sized ones....crunchies, flakes and caramels...

hard to argue with that
if there were a plain and a chocolate digestive next to each other which would you all go for?
no contest really is it?

I try to go easy on the wheat too, lesley, as too much (especially wholewheat) tends to aggravate my IBS. As you say though, biccies are very hard to resist! I have come across some nice wheat-free biccies though - most supermarkets stock them these days. But offer me a pack of, say, custard creams or choccy fingers, and I'm in there like a rat up a drainpipe! :emb: :D
