Yesterday I was working in the man cave finishing off a new piece of equipment vital to my tooling and ease of manufacture of what is to become lots of silversmith's easy labour, a piercing engine to take the workload off my hands quickly ageing under the strain of continuous labour.

Seconds later I remembered that I hadn't watered my tom's and peppers and grapes in the greenhouse so I downed tools and got to work at.the tasks at hand. Shortly afterwards I was sat back at the bench putting the finishing touches to one of my bee swarm boxes that I made a couple of to ease my time with the bees in their bee loud glade. One of which I bartered with a freind who also has bees for a years supply of bottled gas which he traded from one of his freinds for helping him make a chainsaw mill that I designed several years ago and everybody was well pleased.

Stood back in the workshop looking out across the dale checking to see if many cabbage whites were flying about in the vedge plot I noticed a couple flitting about so I downed tools and followed them amongst the green rubbing off the eggs they just laid.

Then I tuned in to the zone where the topic of debate was conjecture about Seany and worry and a whole plethera of minds seemingly doing very little much to prepare for what is thought to be approaching society. What I can see happening is a band of people talking and typing all day and going nowhere, threatened by the violence of the paradigm, threatened by the thought of not being able to protect themselves without skills or the knowledge to ease the journey ahead and happy to bring down to their level those capable of any alternative.

I also see this as the rhythm that others are trying to escape one and the same, an illusionary prison that is in many ways preventing their hands from doing what is needed and conjecture going nowhere but towards their tap tap tapping and nothing to show for it at the end of each year.

Then my dream.nded and the saw in my hand was sligjtly off line in the joint I was cutting.

That is a very thought provoking and eloquent post.
However I think you may have been a tad unfair there. We all approach things in a different way and just because someone takes time to post here it doesn't mean that they aren't also doing other things.
I for example spent a large amount of time attending to the brakes on my step daughter's car yesterday and came here when I was stopping for a cuppa. I also spent a large amount of time talking to the police about the coming shit storm. Something which I consider may help people way beyond my garden in the near future.
I agree with you that we need to turn the focus of this forum away from all the DIF stuff etc. It is taking up too much bandwidth.

Sometimes my spades of words are unwelcome but there is reality within the plethora of procrastinations eminating from a visual reality and eyes in the finger tips.
Fair or unfair is not the Dryads message but a freindly reminder or what he sees happening to a band of his whole being led by yet another piper playing his tunes upon instruments he made himself. What are those tunes, the very rhythm all around which others are being led to believe that the grass is greener on their side of yet another six foot fence with lots of peep holes in it.

There is a saying that talks of running but being unable to hide from the rhythm one and all is creating when there is no need to hide, label nor lead, those who I see that crave governence are those talking but doing little and standing upon the shoulders of the mountain of debt and slavery in their name, so like the ones bringing this ready meal to them are no better than them.

I am.but a single reasoning for my own working day and the lbel on my tin says I made this, a gentle reminder is long overdue from the traigjts many remind and many continue to forget to see what can be achieved.

I think you know by now that I'm in agreement with you that when we buy into the system and rely on it to sustain us, we become it's willing enablers. Likewise we are in concord that there are many among us who lack the skills to sustain themselves, not always through fault of their own making.
In the here and now we are faced with one simple choice that I can see. Do we as a race remain divided/isolated and contrary, seeking to score points off each other in real world and nowadays online interaction or do we band together and present a viable alternative to the plans laid out for us. In that choice are many factors that we must all look in our own mirrors to see.
Apprentice, yours is a voice of reason and as far as I can tell a voice of hope. I sense your frustration and would offer you this as a sign of my solidarity with you. Small sign maybe but heartfelt all the same.

To others, I'd counsel you to heed the apprentice's words with regard to what I too see as a risk of us mirroring that which has pissed us off. This place represents a real opportunity for cohesion and it would be a terrible shame if it merely became a platform for daftsodism.

Lol, tha noz me, far two busy making ends meet now I have been shown 14 windows of opportunity, thing is this Gris, a kind freind gave me some tabbaco seeds andall I needed to do was plant some, water and place them in the sunlight. Ech seed is one micro in size and grows into a bloody great tree, each leaf from the plant is going to save me around a tenner for my pipe this year, 40 plants will give on average fifteen to twenty leaves, all I did was plant a seed.

As Dum mentions oneupmanship in a seperated paradigm, I see these skills as normal and the rest abnormal.

Ahh the venerable PM's, I see them Ok but much prefer to talk in view so others might gain insight to what is going on if you know what I mean.

On the windows of opportunity I am reffering to the knowledge in the house, the zone, here there is a collective of over A 150 years of hand to eye coordination.

It will be difficult in ways where inexperience and guided outlooks has burned deep into the whole to recognise what is still hapenning, but the tech can bring forward what is needed, the two need space/bandwidth to become reality.

If this cannot happen I then know those wanting true freedom will almost never see nor feel it for another 100 years or more.

Every body can not be you mate, its quite simple. Some people are gifted in different ways, I for instance could not cut a straight line with a jigsaw, but I have other capabilities, as do many on here I guess.
People also live in a different environment to me and yourself, inner cites also Scotland

People can learn I agree, but some people can only read and digest the skills and don't have the opportunity to try some of it out. There are of course nite schools etc to try and learn. I read about your bit of bartering for goods, Ive also done that, and that is a skill in itself worth thinking about. For all the shy people if you don't ask you don't get. Maybe approach a farmer outside of the town you live in and offer him something for something, and I don't mean a BJ for a bag of spuds, that's only worth some onions where I live

Survival is going to be a crap shoot with a lot of luck involved, but as they say...you make your own luck !!!

As for people spending to much time on about the other forum, you are correct. I think that will just be a hangup on here and will not go away as people who are banned find there way then moan like fuck about it

I have to say that was a fucking good post there, I also agree that everyone is different and don't have the opportunities, and as you most correctly said, one makes their own luck as I did, this is why I do what I do and offer genuine opportunities to those who want to help themselves.
