Despite all their concieved power and authority. Despite all the symbolism, worship of ancient gods, etc
Despite all the money lavished upon this disgusting jubilee occult procession.
Couldn't do flick-all about the weather could they?

:yeahno:

The jubilee/queen/shit is so important and interesting and fun that even Finnish media thinks it's worth running a story or two... Fuck that crap! I hope it rained batteryacid over the lizards.

My Dad and step-mum, bless 'em, are actually going up to London for the Jubilee! Ah well, never mind, it makes them happy! :D

I'm kinda glad we still can't control the weather - realising we aren't omnipotent helps keep mankind in its place, IMHO!

My idea of starting this thread wasn't to take the piss, 'cos it's gonna literally rain on their parade.

I feel sorry for genuine folks who have speny months organising parties etc, or going up to London for the day(like your folks Mandy).

But this shows that no-one is omnipotent, not even that bunch of occult worshipping parasites.

That's OK, jhado, I didn't think you were making fun of genuine people! I think my parents will enjoy it anyway, no matter what they weather does.

And I agree that it's good to know that no-one is omnipotent!

I'm certainly not omnipotent. I've three kids to prove it.

It's weekends like this when I'm glad I'm not in blighty. On the estate I lived it would just mean an increase in consumption of stella and a few more Union flags and St. Giorgos crosses fluttering from the high rises.

Form is merely a momentary manifestation of being, not a fixed reality.

History doesn't repeat itself, uninformed people repeat history.

To all progressive endeavors great or small, come unforeseen benefits on a scale larger than most give pause or contemplation of.

That's quite beautiful, oi.
