Have you got your flags n shit ready, wubs? I hear it's gonna be a bumper schedule TV-wise. Makes me kinda wish I had an aerial.
Let's just say I'm yet to put up my bunting.

I always keep a TV aerial just to spite the BBC.

Here's what I'm gathering in a simplified summary.

The west's inability to keep Israel on a leash, and more or less hinting at them intentionally stirring the pot to create terrorism.
Some people think Israel is the tail that wags the dog. Personally, I don't agree with this. I think Zionism is important, but it's just a means to an end.
Showing that they've been holding things down with their nations, even if they're heavily populated.
Yeah, I think they also know that there is going to be social unrest in Europe, and indeed there already is. China in particular has its population very effectively locked down. Russia just doesn't allow dissent at all. And the Chinese are becoming, and will become more so, wealthy, so apart from the fact that they live in a totalitarian state, they don't have much to complain about.
By showing how they hold 43% of the population, they're also in a sense saying they have sheer numbers, and should lead by right.
Yeah, and I think they're also saying: "We will lead. It's an inevitability. Get used to it".
There's also the bit about having some of the world's most bio-diverse land. That jumped out at me. They're biological goldmines.
I'm not too sure about this, but they've been forging ties with countries that have strong mineral (obviously oil) reserves such as Venezuela.
Over all, I'm seeing this as saying that they feel the west has proven to be incompetent in it's leadership, and they feel they should take the reigns.
That's pretty much my interpretation, although whether they really believe the West has been incompetent or whether they're just taking advantage of the situation, I don't know. These people do tend to end up believing their own publicity.

I had to leave your first comment to last, though, just so I could make this joke...
They're more or less calling out the collapsing western centralized baking institutions, and the governments they've managed to absorb through indentured servitude.

I wish the West was run by centralised baking institutions, I would love to live in a pie-driven world!

Sorry about that, it was an easy typo to make!

"Calling out" is a very good way of putting it. Just like calling a poker hand. You know, these are the cards we're holding, what have you got over there in the old power structure? Not a lot where we're sitting...

I don't personally see them as the tail that wags the dog either. The US currently appears to be one of the most friendly with them, so I interpreted the statement as an indirect way of saying "Hey, you're vouching for them, do something about the Israeli and Palestinian animosity. It's bad for business." On Zionism, you and I have differing opinions. I don't view Zionism or Dominionism as vital, or any religious 'ism'. They may be vital to controlling parties though. Certainly the banking/globalist families have been utilizing it.

It does come off that way.

Certainly mineral and fossil fuel deposits are high on the list, but I wouldn't shrug off the impressive biodiversity of Brazil and India either. Rain forests are regarded as the lungs of the world, and both Brazil and India have large stretches of it. The plethora of life within them has yet to be fully discovered as well. New species are constantly being discovered. More importantly though, are the potential medicinal uses. Western influenced pharmaceutical and agricultural companies have been trying to push their way into those regions for a while. India last year filed a lawsuit against Monsanto for attempting to genetically modify regionally specific eggplants, and other plants of the forest areas. Monsanto tried to sell these GMO seeds back to them. Both industries are massive, and certainly have lobbied hands in international dealings. In my mind, it would make sense for the Brics nations to utilize these natural resources as another source of public related revenue. Using what one has to it's fullest extent is wise and efficient. They're already very self reliant in terms of medicine and nutrition, so I read their statement as asserting their independence from those industries.

I think they may be taking advantage of the situation as you've suggested; At least that's what I've gathered from some of their news casts and editorials. Russia Today seems to really take that to another level. They're like the alternative fox news.

Ha, I guess that explains western obesity. :larf:

I like the way you worded that. I picture the scenario being very much like that currently.

they are already there of course.

see the link in my profile

<<< she is on the CFR, chatham house and more...as it says in the link.

they have huge operations in India, growing and exporting vegetables. this article/interview is when they just began...
E.L. Rothschild, the holding company that she owns with her third husband to manage investments in the Economist and various enterprises in India.

Those include FieldFresh, a startup that will grow and export Indian fruits and vegetables for markets in Europe and Asia.

In July, Sir Evelyn completed the sale of his stake in the centuries-old English branch of the Rothschild banking empire (for a reported $600 million)—which frees up a lot of capital for them to be major players in the Indian business world.

L.R.: The idea for the company is to essentially be a holding company for our global interests, but largely focused on India. Our most active activity is in India.

L.R.: That China has 60 percent of the arable land of India, but it's 40 percent more productive because of technology. That India is the largest producer of fruits, No. 1 in the world, No. 2 in vegetables, and has only 1 percent of the export market. So, those are all really big factors that we know how to fix. You fix them with technology on the ground, with cold storage and infrastructure on the ground. And if the retail sector isn't ready to buy higher-quality fruit and vegetables, which I always thought they would be-but three years ago, it was less obvious than now-you could export them and be the lowest-cost exporter.

L.G.: So you can export them to parts of Asia and Europe?

L.R.: Yes, and Japan.

L.G.: I see where you have you established this agricultural research center-is that now up and running?

L.R.: Yes, yes, it's up and running....dream for India is that 600 million people could be lifted out of poverty. And we're talking about lifting them from 50 cents a day to $2 a day.

www.portfolio.com/views/columns/the-worl...h-Lady-de-Rothschild

someone i know who knows a bit about this and is in food here, told me that last time he looked into it the tonnages being exported daily were huge. sorry i cant find a link right now.

I could say more on this and some of the celebrities in my mind they have helping them sell the product by increasing demand but id start straying off topic and frankly most people would think im taking it too far...but i have my reasons for thinking what i think and evidence to link them. ;) :hahano:

And China also has large areas of arable land, cheap labour, and some major water infrastructure and dams, (hence irrigation water) which, unlike the west and south america, arent being hindered in development by the elite...case in point was a huge proposed dam in Brazil that was shut down while in construction due to pressure from 'environmentalists' , some of whom happen to be related to aforementioned link...you couldnt script this shit ...unfortunately for those caught in the cross fire...the elite do :hahano:

That's more than I was aware of, Novum. I guess that's my sign to step out of this thread, as I'm clearly a moron. With that, I'll leave you folks to it.

This is my view, this is why I said it's a means to an end. You know, some people get deeply into all that stuff about Jewishness and Judaism and the goyim and all that, for me that's a load of tosh. I don't believe for one second that the Zionists actually believe in Zionism, it's just used to advance the ascent of powerful people and agendas.

These are all good points. I think the coalition between the BRICS and the other less formal allegiances they have made could be summed up as being a coalition of resources and commodities. China has been acquiring gold and silver until it bleeds. Russia has huge oil reserves (most of Europe is dependent on this, not the UK, though, we get most of our oil from Norway). And then there's all the stuff you mention here. They're trying to create a very powerful infrastructure that will be hugely economically competitive when it becomes clear that the Western economies are on the wane. It should be pretty clear now, but some people are a bit slow on the uptake.
I think they may be taking advantage of the situation as you've suggested; At least that's what I've gathered from some of their news casts and editorials. Russia Today seems to really take that to another level. They're like the alternative fox news.
Absolutely. I always say about RT, it's an anti-US / NATO and, to a certain extent, EU propaganda station. Luckily, they don't need any propaganda, they just have to tell the truth!

BTW, I think you've made a very good contribution to this topic and are a very, very long way from being a moron. We sincerely need more people that are interested in learning more about geopolitics and what's going on around them, rather than what storage capacity the new iPhone has. I only learnt most of what I know from listening to people that at the time knew monumentally more than me. I like to think I've closed the gap slightly, but, as they say "wisdom is knowing how little you know".

I know nothing about this stuff but I still read it all in the hope that some of it sinks in and I can get a better grasp of these subjects.

Appreciate ALL (yes indy I'm talking to you too lad :D ) of the contributions so far. Keep them coming :)

No apologies necessary mrindigo.
