May I suggest an Arrivals, Introductions & Welcomes thread pinned to the top of General?
It would give one clear location for people when they join and make it easier for folks to keep track of who they've welcomed or missed.

Just an offering in the spirit of tidying up.

Aye, these new arrivals are making the place look messy.

First of all i think a thread like this belongs in Members Chat Area.

We already have an "I have arrived thread" its a big thread and many new arrivals caught on and added to it.

Perhaps we sticky that, so it is seen as more official, and thats all we need to do.

I like feather's title suggestion better. Sounds more fitting.

Why should the mods have to work their guts out... we only have 2 now, that irre stopped.
