London 2012 - 'Sonic gun' deployed for Olympics

Britain's military will be armed with a sonic device that can be used as a high-volume loudspeaker or a non-lethal weapon to disperse crowds at this summer's Olympic Games in London, the defence ministry has said.

They are doing security exercises of some sort today...helicopters and a light aircraft have been circling around and around since early this morning. The noise is very very annoying.
