Say Hello To Your Corporate Police...

Police staff throughout the county of Lincolnshire are now proudly wearing the logo of their corporate bosses, as Government cuts force privatization of the nation’s peacekeepers.




G4S, a controversial multi-national security corporation has now virtually taken over all civilian positions in the region, including front counter staff at police stations, control room operators, custodians at local holding cells, and even inquiry officers. In total 550 employees who previously worked for Lincolnshire Police Authority are now considered private sector workers, essentially accountable only to company policy, with 200 or so already sporting the G4S stamp.

I moved G4S prison vans around in my last job (no prisoners in them though lol, I was just a trade plate vehicle mover)



Completely speed unrestricted too...and no problem getting pulled by the coppers either

Its limited to 100km/h in Oz...plus they have to be fitted with speed limiters by law so cant go faster.

Any vehicle weighing seven and a half tons or more has to be restricted by law (with a speed limiting device fitted) to a max speed of 56 mph now in the UK.

And many delivery companies voluntarily restrict even their small vans to that in order to get insurance discounts.

Its a pain in the arse for the drivers though, who are under constant pressure to get around quickly.

There are a few exceptions to these rules though. where the Home Office are involved. G4S come under those exceptions.

Yeah its the same for drivers here, payed by the mile. More miles=more money, but have to work within the rules of speed and hours on the road.

the overhead cameras do point to point and snap a shot of the drivers face too, i think you have the point to point average speed checks there as well.
