here is more of the olympic park, all fenced, bomb squads everywhere, machinegun armed police in the nearby shopping centre.

I note with a jaw on the floor that today, an army dude has come out and stated the missiles are to take out drones carrying bio weapons!

Firstly, any drone of a size that can be taken out with a missile will be the property of a Nation state........ The kind of drones that us civvies can get hold of are no bigger than model helicopters. Missiles aint no good against that!

So, are they trying to imply that a state such as Iran is A: capable of getting a drone all the way to London and B: has the motivation to do so?

It will be an absolute disgrace if they go as far as stopping familys taking in picnics or pre-made pack ups. In fact, all they'll succeed in doing by this, is making people come up with various novel ways to get this stuff in any way they can. I'm taking that view from expecience of festivals... where there's a will there's a way

Given the size the ques are likely to be, I expect more will be able to get things through than they've accounted for
