Was irre mentioned with regard to this incident?
I'm not being a dick, I genuinely missed it if he was.

Ah fair enough.

I admire your forgiveness mate but the guy did a lot to earn my distaste and derision and I saw/see no effort made to apologise for, or remedy that.
In all candour, I won't be joining you on this one.

Fair shout. Totally get where you're coming from. I'm not asking folk to fogive him just to perhaps drop him from the list of perpetual sockers.

Just to add, sadly i think someone from tz may have invited someone a lot nastier than irre into the fold.

Unfortunately if you build a reputation for serial sockery you can't then complain about being a reference point.

It's the damage these fucks do that I find hard to ignore. Others get fingers pointed at them and suspicions raised because these sad, dysfunctional assholes want to play coward games.

Even if he has stopped now, he earned his legacy.

Again on the topic of TZ, I genuinely have a lot of regard and affection for several posters there and am saddened that this childish nonsense seems to be continuing.

The split has happened, park the butthurt shite and move on.

I have no qualms at all with people choosing to use multiple sites, Actually I think it's damn healthy.
I do have huge problems with people parking sock puppet recruiters.
Grow a pair

Why don't we just form a thread with links to other boards?
Fuck slinking about in the shadows. Let's act like grown-ups and get it out in the open.

I've said it before feather, the whole split thing saddens me. I had a look over at tz this morning and saw several members who i am very fond of and who i don't recall falling out with. Even hex is there now. I miss those folk.

Me too :(

BUT...we're all grown ups and make our own decisions. For whatever reason, some of us don't feel comfy there and some of them don't feel comfy here.

The full extent of (Dog)WhistleblowerX's engagement with the community was thus:
WBX: "I've got info that'll knock your socks off if I disclose it all!"
SZ: "Disclose it all!"
WBX: "I demand free speech!"
SZ: "Speak freely"
WBX: "Fascists!" flounces off stage right

It's nice to know that someone's still in contact with him and I hope he's doing grand. :) I really hope he's staying the fuck away from forums and is getting on with his life - hopefully his writing aspiration is going well.

In a boozy fug the other night I almost posted an I really miss thread. Irre version 1 (the anti-bigot from the dif) was gonna be on there. Along with nosey, k-bone, Mandy and Lesley. A few former dif posters who left here before I joined were on the list as well.
I kinda fell asleep before I made it. :emb:

I wonder where Nosey went.

Yes, there are some very excellent folk on TZ, and I think we should invite them to our Xmas party - and they should invite us to theirs. I expect we're better dancers than them though.
