Very bizarre stuff.

One thing to be on the alert about is someone who acts act like the grammar police on a forum, and it gets to the point where people are in fear of this individuals comments.

Because of his/her constant ridiculing or correcting of any particular poster,or posters as a constant thing.

And eventually the gang mentality kicks with some others there to gain the grammar freaks acceptance, and this grammar freak gains control and acceptance from the so called grammatically educated on a particular forum.

It's a intimidation tactic and really can upset a forum member

And set up on a pedestal of power on that forum the grammar freak

Another example would be a mod that has another account not known to members. Then you're going to an entirely different level as to how this can be abused..... if the mod has a dislike of certain posters.

Your right in my opinion.

A sensitive subject forum that a moderator may really enjoy posting on,but realizes there are people are on their guard, defensive or not fully open when responding to a moderator, may need to have a alternate identity to have a good time on that forum.
Also not the case here in my opinion.

It's a wise choice for some of the moderators to have a alternate log in ,or a so called secret mod situation, but when they let personal dislike of a poster get the best of them, it can turn mean and ugly

I only have one account on here and any forum I have joined. I don't do gang stuff and I wouldn't launch my wrath without provocation.

Sometimes provocation kicks in and I think, what is the point. Ignore it.

It's a forum, be sensible, have fun. You can do both equally if you try. :grouphug:

Very bizarre stuff.

Checkout a charity called 'Common Purpose'. The type of people that suffer are whistle blowers or people in organisations such as the NHS who disagree with methods and policies which the management wish to implement etc.

Common Purpose specialise in training management how to manage teams of people using group dynamics which in turn results in gang stalking type scenarios. Common Purpose use NLP as a training aid which enables them to program people to adopt these techniques and employ them in their work places. CP graduates are rife in local government, police, NHS, Education and the civil service. Although they are supposed to be a charity the government is a major fund contributor. CP are now responsible for training the top 200 civil servants.

If the so called Mods wanted you to get points then all they would have to do is use their sock puppet and I've had a sock puppet do that in a thread over at that place. I didn't bite. :chuckle:

You don't think on a forum a moderator shouldn't have a alternate identity?

Well as I mentioned if a particular moderator really enjoyed a forum, and isn't that really the point of visiting one,in my opinion there would be less stress to reply to a non moderator and it would be more real.

This forum is the opposite it's easier in my opinion talking to mods most forums the mods seem to be on a power trip, and people watch their replies to their posts or threads.

Sorry but if you are worried about people not being honest with you because you're a mod, then don't be a mod.

The last thing you do when you fear that people are not being honest with you is start deceiving them.
