K-Bone, I've tried Gunpowder with mint before its nice, but again if the water is too hot it can make the mint taste somewhat chemically so I guess the temperature has to go lower... Also, a lot of the loose gunpowder seems to be too dry (especially the Japan versions).
I stopped drinking tea with sugar and milk about two years ago now and just stick to echinacea with honey or any form of green tea. I also try to look for the non-bleached tea bags so use the mesh type or simple brown ones. Clipper do a really nice 'organic' green tea which is much richer than most I have tried.

What I do find strange is those fruit infused teas... They say they are freeze dried but on inspection they are filled with white powder... So I guess this is synthesized flavored sugar.

Yeah, as much as I like fruit; not a fan of the fruit flavored teas. I saw a tea recently that had some kinda caramel powder in it. I should probably branch out and try some other teas, though. Especially since I'm replacing my coffee with tea. I can't seem to get into the spiced teas...I can only take cinnamon and such spices in small amounts. There is a Mediterranean cafe near my job that has the best ice tea ever! I couldn't figure out what was different about it, then a friend of mine said it was cardamon. Surprisingly tasty!

Yeah, you will probably find yourself sticking with the original one you liked tbh. I have just grown accustom to the green tea for a number of reasons, it seems to be the proper way forward in drinking tea as apposed to the traditional milk n sugar and brown teas..
I too can't stand the cinnamon/spiced types. Especially ginger tea the burning taste is just wrong.

Cardamon... Interesting.. I shall have to give it a try. Do you know how they made the iced-tea?

Coffee for me. All day everyday for ever more.

I will ONLY buy Cap Colmbie and have done for many years. I also own a Gusto machine which now has me completely addicted to the cappucino version... I seriously cannot get enough of them down my neck. Expensive bloody addiction :hypo:

If I where loaded, I'd have me one of those real fancy machines that only rich people (and froggy) own :coffee:

I use stevia herb as my sweetener, Rick - it's 100% natural and has zero carbs. You only need the tiniest pinch to sweeten your drink, too. If you decide to give it a try though, be careful of which brand you choose, as many of them contain dodgy "fillers".

I wish I knew how they made that tea! I have no idea what type of tea they use(seems like maybe a black tea); my friend just said they infused it with cardamon somehow and she knows her spices! I like a little ginger.

Also, I hate to admit it(and it hardly qualifies as tea) but I love the green tea frappuccino at Starbucks. I found the recipe, though and need to try this at home!

Anybody here drink kombucha? I love this brand:https://www.synergydrinks.com/ but you can make it yourself(something I'd love to do).

Me, too! I used to work in a cafe that had one of those big fancy brass machines and I made the best cappuccinos EVER! seriously, I haven't had coffee that good in a long time. :coffee:

Ugh, this thread is making it hard for me not to run out and get a mocha! Tea is good but it's no match for coffee... :(

My requirements for coffee... you can stand a horseshoe up in it to make sure it's done and ya need a knife and fork to drink it.
My requirements for tea... sugar and cream.

Besides that, if it fits those requirements...we're good to go.
