And yes, it is true I have felt discomfort there and I assuming you mean about the race hatred. I was not uncomfortable with just that, but other things going on, the name-calling and infighting and how the forum was operated. But same as this thread, hopefully surely you can understand why people would be uncomfortable on this one as well.

We all know there are unpleasant people in all groups that make up the one race called humanity. Let us hope we can sort out this mess soon.

That is something that I consider an immense disservice to this forum and the people who helped create it and the people who contribute to it.

It is healthy that we air our disagreements out in the open. That was NEVER typical of DIF. Everything was quashed under threats of banning and disappearing posts.

Disputes here get get heated but as far as i can tell 99% get resolved with both parties calling a truce and/or making up and making peace.

That hardly EVER happened at DIF and certainly did not happen when the mods got involved.

If you have been 'Rick' the entire time you were here, I would say you have made some good contributions to the forum and seem to have good intentions. There have been other posters who have not disclosed their genders to everyone and they seem to be alright. People have a right to be private on the net if they choose.

It is okay to have disagreements. Sometimes its easy to have a misunderstanding by words typed upon a screen. We can learn from each other that way and can be a good thing.
