Dissolve the glue on stickers by rubbing mayonnaise over them. Let it sit for a few minutes and then peel off the sticker.

Who finds out all these things? :conf: I mean, who looks at a jar of mayonnaise and thinks, "I know...."; or a lemon and an old newspaper....?

And how do I develop lateral thinking? Should I just crack an egg and see if it can do something good to my keyboard?

Diesel can clean/remove tarmac off tools...

though be carefull.. cleaning diesel up is nay on impossible when you get it on somethng you dont want diesel on!

Secondly, I learned a lot of it from watching my grandmother when I was wee. See, she just knew stuff like this, I expect from her mother and her mother before her. People scoff at the idea now, but that's how we used to do it.

They don't teach this shit in school, you know.

I also have a copy of the 'News Chronicle's Housewife's Handy Book', which has proved to be worth it's weight in gold. :thumbup:

Ive heard she has a 9 inch strap on :emb: so just be careful in the bedroom. Advice from oi oi oi. :lolplac:
