theme park rides?
I disagree totally with these being put into this category as they are based on adrenalin and not fear. They may be classed as
fear rides but that's nothing more than spin as what they are, are a complete rush of adrenalin... so technically 'a hit'
I absolutely LOVE extreme thrill rides, so maybe I'm being swayed by that love.... but they are all about the rush. People experience adrenalin in all its glory on these rides and not fear.
I was going to start a thread about thrill rides... you've just reminded me

I wasn't passing judgement on people that enjoy horror movies or rollercoasters/rides, just used them as examples of things that people use to alter their own natural chemical flow, that's all.
I do however see horror movies (blood, gore & violence) as something significantly different that lends itself to opening up doors to things that could take up residence within our being that we may not even be aware of. Along the lines of
the archons. I know, not everyone's cup of joe, but that's just my personal belief. Even if you know what you're seeing is fake (movies, TV shows) your unconscious mind (or whatever part of your brain that only sees/interprets things as either being true or false, not real or fake) still inputs that data and processes it according to personal belief systems.
As for defining what constitutes "fear" and all its ramifications as opposed to what falls under the umbrella of "adrenaline rushes", I won't split hairs on the issue. But I wasn't knocking the thrill rides.
