Just wanted to ask this question to all the members here, but accd to one bloke who runs a fringe forum someplace, Buddha Icke has been sending out emails to reminding people of this talk. Anyway here is the man talking about himself and see what you think of this.~

I couldnt afford to go even if I wanted to - the price is way way way out of my budget - what was amusing was watching icke ask robbie williams via twitter 'hey mate are you coming to my wembley gig?' that and the constant advertising for it and the warnings about how they need to decide on venue size.
Sometimes, if you stand on the bottom rail of a bridge and lean over to watch the river slipping slowly away beneath you, you will suddenly know everything there is to be known.

No. Wembley is just too far away. :chuckle: If it was in Toronto I would go, get myself a T-shirt.

Jeez... in the video, he seems to be changing somewhat... he's becoming a celebrity or something.

The day when Icke can be counted as celebrity... Well, hell freezes or something. I don't what to think.

No.

Hey, I have an idea!

Somebody who goes to see him, take a camera there... Is David going to be signing copies of his books? If so, go there with a copy, ask for autograph(camera recording at all times.), then confront him on the actions of Sean & co. And ask what he's going to do about this extreme anti freedom of speech activity in the forums.

I bet it would be interesting to see what he has to say on this. :hahano:

it will be uploaded to youtube or filesshare anyway.

why indirectly pay seans wage to see how icke repeats plagiarazed stuff for 9 hours?

its not even so much the money but rather the 9 hours of my life, id rather spend them sunbathing or doing fuck all.

also i dont think its good to support heavy alcoholics into further misery by paying them money.

i got nothing to learn from icke, but maybe it would be funny watching him while being stoned myself and interrupting with shouts, thanking him for the freedom of speech on his forum and for the bannings

No

Having watched that vid, I have to say yuk DI! Just Yuk. And no I'm not on about your bathroom. Just the whole tone of the vid is skin crawly yuk. And that's coming from someone who isn't anti the message that you've cobbled together from others and presented as yours.

The best man to ask all about Icke and his habits is none other than Damn'Sod!, but hey is that bloke going to overtake Fidel Castro in making the long winding speeches which goes on forever. Hey those talks cost roughly in the region of £50 but there are some overheads to pay for Icke Inc LOL.

Seeing as I am from the states and 'financially challenged', I won't be attending.
Form is merely a momentary manifestation of being, not a fixed reality.

History doesn't repeat itself, uninformed people repeat history.

To all progressive endeavors great or small, come unforeseen benefits on a scale larger than most give pause or contemplation of.

I am going to do one better on that Icke gig, what I am going to do is get a payee to go into his talk and film the whole lot for me to watch and anyway, you can see Buddha Icke in action in You Tube absolutely free of charge. BTW, I admire and respect the man in his own way because if someone like Droike, ciggy, sod or anyone else of that matter is so against him, then there must be something right about him.
Yeah I saw that video in the morning again, and I felt what a humble man to have kitchen the size of a shed and all this tallk about Tennants Super is a myth cos I never saw a can. OH btw, the term of Buddha in sanskrit is Great Man.
Anyway here is the man's views on the newsletter issue.

The subscription take-up for a paid-for newsletter - I say 'paid for' I mean the price of a single beer a month - has been, how shall I put it?, virtually non-existent. When it was free, wow, yes please. Now it's the price of a pint of beer a month for four newsletters, no thanks.

So if that's what they are considered to be worth - nothing - then why should I spend my time producing them while wondering if my basic bills will be covered at the end of the month and whether Davidicke.com can continue to exist in anything like its present form?

The response has made me reassess all that I have done and am doing because I am up to here with giving out with so little in return. People say they support me? Okay, where is it? I put out an appeal for help with the website and every single response - bar one - was looking to make serious money out of doing it.

How much is it worth not to be microchipped? How much is it worth not to have a uniformed thug knock on the door? How much is it worth to be free?

The next newsletter will go out on Saturday/Sunday and if the take-up is not vastly increased, it will be the last one. And I am certainly not, given this wake-up call, going to spend my hours every day on the website any more if this is how much the information is valued. Why should I? I have a family to look after.

Thanks so much to those few who have responded, it is so much appreciated. But after nearly 20 years of giving out with so little return, enough is enough.

Sorry if I sound pissed off, but then I am.

best wishes,

David
