sell all your delicious horses to french butchers for big fat stacks of cash

a lot of it goes to the continent already.

the public perception of horsemeat is shitty then is the problem? i guess they need a better spokes person than princess anne.
maybe jamie oliver could do a show. or bear grylls is stranded in devon.

there's horses all around us. in a survival situation you have to use any advantage that opens up. they will carry all your stuff. then you can gut them and sleep inside, and have steaks for breakfast.

don't get me started on Bear Grylls!!!

We're trying to rehome afew ponies this winter. They've worked their lives here and have been treated well. They've been enjoying retirement for a good while out in the fields.
When it comes to moving them on, things aint quite as they used to be. There are few that will take them on.
My view is that we should just continue to give them a nice home but this is a money world and understandably, there isn't cash for that anymore.
T'other day the topic came up, thankfully i wasnt there. We have one, just one, total twat here. Part of his job is looking after the equines. He suggested in all seriousness that we should sell them for meat...
It did not go down well. It would have gone down worse if i'd been there.
