im going to go visit a friend of a friend in a bit, and when i get home i want to chill and have my mind rearranged. so i ask you guys to suggest a mind fuck of a movie.. something that will melt my brain and change my life forever. c'mon... i'm not asking much.

i sat through it all, a feat of endurance if there ever was.

I have some recommendations you may or may not enjoy.

Dark city - In my opinion, I think this movie is hugely under-appreciated. It takes perceptional reality into a truly interesting direction.


The game - The movie keeps the viewer guessing as they watch the protagonist's sense of reality melt around him.


Pandorum - It seems like a typical Scifi movie, but ends out going in a most unexpected direction.


Pan's labyrinth - I loved this movie. It's a lot like Alice in wonderland, but with a darker twist.


Beyond the black rainbow - Probably the strangest movie I've seen in a long time. It starts out pretty slow and a bit boring, but it picks up with increasing intensity. Really weird movie, and a total mind fuck. If you're a symbolism buff, this movie does not disappoint.
