David Icke's profile is taking a bit of a hit right now because of his official forums, which are plagued with administrative scandals, invasions of privacy and total hypocrisy.
Part of the aim here at Sanctum Zone is to do what you suggest and allow people to have an alternative venue. Everyone here is encouraged to visit other sites and that includes the David Icke Official forums. The idea is that this site gives people a base camp, which offers some stability and a place to maintain contact with other people you meet out on the web. Where possible the site is governed by the community and peer pressure as opposed to over zealous moderation. The advantage we have that David Icke can never have is that we don't have anything to sell or reputation to protect. There is no God Head conspiracy guru as our figure head, we are totally independent and free from the constraints which are inherent with sites such as the
Official David Icke Forums.
The thing is that here at the Sanctum Zone we understand that the power behind any forum comes from the community, and the members who contributes to it. The Sanctum Zone is nothing without the sum of its membership, just as the official David Icke forum is nothing without their members, so in that respect Sean and the DIF have no advantage over this forum or any other come to that.
The benefits for members here come in the form of mutual respect and transparency, where their privacy is also respected, along with their rights to use other forums and web resources, without judgment from anyone here. With that comes an increase in personal responsibility within our community, because individuals are required to be their own moderators. It's also hoped that members here will help the community moderate its self...which at this early stage seems to be effective.
We also have nothing to lose and everything to gain, which gives us an upper hand. Sean and David Icke are killing their membership by suffocating their community with oppressive policies, which are in direct opposition to the very things which David Icke professes to stand for. They also both earn good incomes from their website in ad revenue and premium membership fees. And yet they seek sponsors to invest in the further development of their site, which they themselves aren't prepared to invest in...that alone demonstrates what they represent. As you also stated elsewhere, Sean doesn't seem to share the views or concerns of the community he governs, and his approach is business orientated with a desire for personal development and advancement. Based on that assumption which there is a mountain of evidence to support, it's very unlikely that Sean will achieve a solid foundation for his ambitions, because he has zero integrity or credibility, which is evident in the way he administers the site and the rules he imposes to dis-empower his members - who have no voice or privacy when engaging with the official David Icke forums.
Sean is single highhandedly doing more harm to David Icke than his appearance on the Terry Wogan Show in 1991, which strangely had started to work in favor of Icke in recent years. Although the vast majority of people still only retain the lizards and god head elements of the show, while blindly righting off Icke as a new age crank - never giving him or his views any serious thought.
I really can't see that Ickes profile is a particular asset in the great scheme of things. He is just one small voice regurgitating widely shared views in a fringe area of interest. He presents no original thoughts and continues to pursue subject such as the artificial moon, which is simple rehashed concepts wrapped in a shiny new book cover, in an effort to attract a fringe element of what is a minority interest group. I think he could gain credibility by tackling some issues which may offer some solutions, in areas that effect people in their daily lives. Is there a reason why he doesn't use his perceived celebrity status to back worthy causes, apart from the fact that many would probably not welcome his endorsement?
You could have added links to the websites you mentioned so that members here can access them easily...
