I see the "positive" side and a lot of the perks and even advantages in having drones flying openly over U.S. airspace.
Please explain...
I think
Mike summed it up nicely in his last few posts. Essentially, to help out in police work. I mean, I
still think we need "law & order". We need police, some form of military AND [can't believe I'm actually saying this] some form of government. What we
don't need is the kind of fucked up corruption-filled system that we've got now and have had since probably forever!!
I think "bad guys" need to be caught and brought to Justice. I don't think many people here will disagree with that. And I think that police-work needs some help. Because they're certainly not getting it done right as it is!! But with the introduction of such measures [unmanned drones] there's a big, huge can of worms being opened up and I really don't think it's going to work out very well. Not for Joe Public. Not in the long-run. There's just way too much else going on that when lumped together with this, well it just spells trouble!!
So for all the positive aspects that these drones
could bring, they drag right along with them a whole slew of bad, worse and downright unthinkable things too. All anybody has to do is look at the last ten or so years of what's gone on in America and it's not hard to see where things are being led to. That's just my thoughts on it.
The bad guys range from thugs to bankers and politicos.
RIght now the public enemy is an effeet guy from Audtralia and a rather demure lady from Iceland.
