Have you not watched the way they deal with crowds and have done so for decades now?
There might be some new tech involved such as sound cannons/water cannons/tasers etc, but before then it was tear gas, rubber bullets, pulling out ringleaders. This stuff is really old

You've seen it on TV in the 80's nevermind now
Do you think they had any more respect for citizens rights then than they do now? Come on :p
I'm old enough not to see any REAL change now, I can see that this has been going on for a long time and it'll continue to go on the way it is. The only thing thats different is the tools used.
The methods are older than me.
I'm aware of all that and not disputing any of what you're saying.
And yes I've seen all those things you mention and yes, the tech keeps advancing but the last time I looked, there wasn't any Internment and Resettlement camps which where specifically designed to hold anyone who had an opposing view to that of the most corrupt state on the planet, so they could be reconditioned into accepting the U.S. policies and actions. Have you seen any of those in your lifetime?
Yes. Remember what they did in the US with the commie witch-hunts?
How about what the nazis did to the jews or the gypsies?
We may just have to agree to disagree on this one andy because from where I'm sitting, you're either not prepared or interested enough to look into it further than you have because you think it's nothing new or out of the ordinary... or you're deliberately trying to play it down for whatever reason you would have. Fair enough?

Its nothing new in the sense that those in power have never cared about humanist values or concepts.
They merely pretend to while its convenient to do so
I agree that its important to spread the message to as many people as possible though that this goes on and this doc is good for that. I personally though am far beyond thinking that this is something 'new' if you get me
This battle between the people and the elite has been going on for yonks. The people have always seen themselves as weak and powerless, so its good that they get pissed off at it imho.
Your 'universalist' human rights have always been trampled on until recently in the west, its common to see people who believe only in cultural rights which vary across regions. They don't believe in universal unalienable human rights as some of us do. They tend to be more backward, bigoted, religious, conservative, in fact, just like most of the shills on the DIF
You see, I don't see differences in this struggle, I see a struggle which has lasted for eons. The struggle is for man to overcome the paradigm of his own making.
