I can't dispute any of those points andy but I still can't accept that this is just the norm and run of the mill measures. I also don't feel as if we have any time to 'fix' and of those things such as immaturity - any such choices have passed us by. We're in 'it' now and before long it's going to feel like a living nightmare.

Here in the UK, we still have a relatively justified level of what can be deemed free speech. But not for long way things are going... surely you see that?

The only way is to be 100% self reliant and that is not possible except for the most hardened tough men who live on their own.
Families cannot manage such a thing, they need community and others to rely on for their help, mankinds ascent from trees and caves to what we are now all began with co-operation. It is this co-operation that makes us what we are and this co-operation came long BEFORE money was invented
Mankinds original motive for this co-operation was mutual benefit, not personal financial gain.

We can actually live such lives again, even WITH advanced technology and avoid money and avoid control freaks etc.
This would be a monumental effort of co-operation involving thousands of people though...and as I have explained, we will do the bidding of our overlords before we will help each other.

Eventually after transhumanism comes along and the mind-computer interface we'll see tiered levels of humanity emerge, this is all a bit beyond our lifetimes of course but perhaps not our kids.

Time to --- The spooks are not only tracking our facebook activity but jailing us now too!

I come across similar mindsets to those expressed in those FB comments a lot in my travels through tinterweb. Sket, yes they can be demoralizing, throwing rox at your head doesn't help though. I've tried it. What helps is to understand that is what you are up against in your efforts and to find respectful and kind ways of helping them understand they are willfully insane.....

I suppose at the end of the day the only way 'we' are going to 'win' is to band together and literally make our own self sufficient communities.
That would ofc take extremes of effort, including financial to begin with.
It would also be 'cult-like' of course, something we wish to avoid so we're left in this state of doing nothing.
